What is happening?

Starting January 1, 2026, Dropbox is updating its servers with new certificates, and for PWMinder to continue to be able to connect with the Dropbox servers, it needs to be updated to use the updated Dropbox SDK (see this article from the Dropbox team).

What does this mean for PWMinder Desktop users?

This means that starting January 1, 2026, versions 3.3.3 and older may no longer work with Dropbox, i.e. won't be able to sync with Repositories stored on Dropbox.

What should I do?

Update to the latest version of PWMinder Desktop (3.4.0 or higher). The latest version can be downloaded from the PWMinder Desktop Downloads page.
